After pursuing a career as a typical actress in films like Guwapings: The First Adventure (1992), Chickboys (1994), and Machete II (1994), Priscilla Almeda burst onto the Filipino skinematic scene in 1997 with the film Exploitation. We hope that the title is metaphorical, since Priscilla bared boobs and butt in multiple scenes. Her next sexploitation flick was Sutla (AKA Silk) (1999), wherein her naked body looks soft as silk. She then took on one of the more impressively gratuitous nude roles we’ve ever seen in the crime drama Syota ng bayan (AKA Sweetheart of the Town) (2001). Sure, the movie is in Tagalog, but how important is plot in the grand scheme of things when a woman as hot as Priscilla is prancing across the screen wearing nothing more than a smile? The right answer is not at all. In fact, we here at Skin Central are fairly convinced that there wasn’t a costume budget given to the filmmakers, considering how often Priscilla’s puffy, perky pea-pods and pubie-pie are on full display. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen those naughty bits since then. This doesn’t mean that Priscilla hasn’t taken anymore nude roles, just that Mr. Skin hasn’t discovered them. She acted in several more projects in 2001, including Huwag kang kikibo… (AKA Don’t Be Silent…), West Side Avenue, Stray Cat, and Sa puso ko, iingatan ka (AKA My Heart, Take Care), before taking a decades-long break from the screen. She returned in 2019. Will she return to skinema? We can only hope.
